View SRDF directors
Unisphere supports the display of director information.
Steps
- Select the storage system.
- Select System > Hardware.

Click the
RDF Directors tab.
Use the RDF Directors list view to view and manage the SRDF directors.
NOTE: Some of the following properties and controls are environment-specific and therefore may appear in a different order or not at all.The following properties display:
Director Director ID. % Busy Percent of time the director is busy. This field only displays when the storage system is registered with the Performance component. Type Director type. RDF groups Number of SRDF groups. Port Port ID. Director Status Director status. RDF Protocol Director transmission protocol. IPSec Policies Number of IPSec Policies. Port Status Indicates whether the port is online or offline. Cores Number of cores. This field only displays when the storage system is running HYPERMAX OS 5977 or PowerMaxOS 5978. Alerts Director alert status, as indicated by icon color:
One or more fatal alerts
One or more critical alerts, with none higher
One or more warning alerts, with none higher
One or more informational alerts, with none higher
No alerts

The following controls are available:
- Online—Sets the port to be online.
- Offline—Sets the port to be offline.
- CPU I/O Setting— Set CPU I/O resource distribution
- Associate— Associate directors and ports
- Disassociate— Disassociate directors and ports
- Manage Emulation— The Emulation Management wizard
- RE Configuration > Create IP Interface— Configure an IP interface for OR or RE ports
- RE Configuration > Modify IP Interface— Configure an IP interface for OR or RE ports
- RE Configuration > Delete IP Interface— Configure an IP interface for OR or RE ports
